All of our publications are compiled, typed and checked by volunteers, printed locally, and sold
at cost so that the society can afford to publish the next one. They are soft-bound, 8½ by 11
inches, and fully indexed by surname. Members receive 10% off.

Orders are filled by mail. Send a check or money order payable to the Stallard County
Genealogical Society, with a list of what you want and your mailing address, to the society's post
office box at the county seat. If you do not have the address, e-mail
me and I will send it by return. Books go out by book rate within two weeks; please allow
three to four weeks for delivery. If something is not what you expected, return it within thirty
days for a refund.
A Word About Research Requests
We are all volunteers and we do not do research for hire. For members, we will look up one
name in one of our indexes on request and send what we find. For larger questions, we can give
you the names of people in the county who do research for a fee, and we would encourage you,
if you can, to come and spend a day in the genealogy room yourself. The courthouse and the
cemeteries are not going anywhere, and there is nothing quite like standing where they stood.
