ok so hi. I'm Marisa! I'm 19, I'm a freshman at a state school about two hours from home, and I am typing this in the computer lab at 1:40 in the morning instead of doing my Western Civ reading, which I think tells you most of what you need to know about me. Everybody on my floor has a home page now so I figured I'd make one before I'm the last person on Earth without one. My RA says pages should be "short and to the point." Sorry, Kristen. That's not really my thing. (Hi Kristen!) the roommate situation My roommate is Tasha. She's from right outside Philly and she gets up at six in the morning to go running. On purpose. Nobody is chasing her. She also labels her food in the mini-fridge, which I thought was a little intense until I ate half her yogurt by accident the second week, so now I get it, and I owe her a yogurt. We have a system for the lamp and a system for the phone and a system for when her boyfriend calls from Penn State, and the systems are mostly working. Honestly she's the best and I got really lucky, because the girl across the hall has a roommate who keeps a lizard. A lizard. HI TASHA, I KNOW YOU'RE READING THIS, I SEE YOU IN THE LAB. quiz results (very scientific) I take every quiz anybody forwards me. It's a problem. Here's what the internet has decided about me so far:

So far this semester I have wanted to be: a psych major, a communications major, an elementary ed major, and for one whole afternoon, a geology major, because the rock lady at the activities fair was really, really nice and gave me a piece of quartz. I still have the quartz. I do not have a major. My dad asks "so, did you pick yet?" every Sunday when he calls, and I say "getting there!" in my getting-there voice. home sweet Scranton Yes, it's a real place. Yes, people laugh when I say it. It's got the Steamtown trains and the coal mine tour at McDade Park that every single kid in Lackawanna County goes on in fourth grade, and it's got my mom and my dad and my little brother Joey (14, gross, secretly nice). And it's got Old Forge pizza, which comes in a rectangle on a tray and is the best food in the world, and nobody here has even heard of it, and I miss it like it's a person. If anyone reading this is going home to the Scranton area, please bring me back a tray. I'll pay you in yogurt. (Not Tasha's yogurt.) things I am scared of, in order
