FRIDAY NIGHT SMASH RECORDS!!! |

Every Friday my cousins come over after dinner and we play 4 players on the big TV in the den. We have 4 controllers. One of them has a loose control stick so you have to pick fast or you get stuck with it.
I started writing down who wins every match in August because Brian kept saying he won the most and I wanted PROOF. It turns out he was wrong. It turns out it's Jasmine. |

ME (Antonio), 12 - Captain Falcon. I used to be Pikachu but then I unlocked Falcon and the Falcon Punch is the best thing in the game. JASMINE, 12 - Kirby. Always Kirby. She jumps 5 times and stone-drops on your head. She is 3 months older than me and she says that's why. BRIAN, 13 - Fox. He's really fast with him. He talks the whole time. "Talks" is a nice word for it. PETER, 13 - Donkey Kong. He grabs you and carries you off the edge and jumps off WITH you. Sometimes he wins and sometimes he just takes you with him. He says both are good. AUSTIN, 8 - Yoshi. He's Peter's little brother. He plays when somebody gets up to go to the bathroom. He doesn't count in the records because he's 8, but he's getting good and that's a little scary. |

1. Everybody gets 3 lives (stock). Items on. Last one left wins. 2. Whoever came in last picks the next stage. 3. THE PIKACHU RULE: Whoever won the last match can't be Pikachu. (We made this in May because of a big fight.) 4. No unplugging somebody's controller. (Brian.) 5. The loose controller rotates. You can't keep giving it to Austin. 6. When my mom says "last one" it's the last one. Except we always play one more. |

We missed September 3 because we went to my grandma's for Labor Day.

Most wins in one Friday: 5. Brian (August 27) and Jasmine (September 24). Tied.Most wins in a row: Brian, 4, on August 27. He was Fox all 4 times and he would not stop talking about it. Biggest comeback: ME! September 17, on Hyrule Castle. I had 1 life left and Jasmine had all 3, and I won with the Home-Run Bat and two Falcon Punches. I yelled so loud my dad came in. Weirdest win: Peter, August 13, on Congo Jungle. It was just him and Brian left with 1 life each. He grabbed Brian and jumped off the edge with him, and Brian went off the screen first by like half a second, so the game ended and Peter won while he was still falling. We still argue if that counts. (It counts. The game said Peter.) Most times Goldeen came out of a Poke Ball in one night: 3. Nobody won anything that night with a Poke Ball. Austin record: Austin beat Brian one time, in a match that doesn't count, on September 10. Brian says it doesn't count. Austin says it counts. Austin is putting it on the page himself: |
