Right before you fight Grunty at the very end you have to play her game show. It is called Grunty's Furnace Fun and it is a giant board game over a furnace and Grunty asks you questions in rhymes. She is not good at rhymes. If you win you go up and fight her. If you lose... just don't lose.

The first time I played it I lost because I didn't know ANYTHING. The second time I won. Here is what I learned:

Brentilda is Grunty's sister and she is NICE (she is also not ugly). She hides in different places in the Lair and every time you find her she tells you three secrets about Grunty, like her favorite color and the name of her old boyfriend (GROSS). Those are the questions on the Grunty squares in the quiz!!!

WRITE THEM DOWN. I have a whole page in my notebook. Meagan says I should have done this from the start and she is right.

IMPORTANT: the Grunty secrets are DIFFERENT for every game file. My friend Nathan's answers did NOT work in my game. I found out the hard way. Find Brentilda in YOUR game.

Some squares show you a picture of somebody from the game and you have to say who it is. So pay attention to everybody you meet! Even the little ones. Even the ones you didn't like.

Some squares play music and you have to say where it's from. Every world has its own song and it changes when you go underwater or into a building. If you play a lot you will just know. (Meagan knows all of them from her room and she has never even played.)

If you get one wrong something bad happens to you, so don't just push a button. Think first. Then push the button.

Find the empty honeycomb pieces in the worlds before you go to the quiz. Every 6 you find gives you more honeycomb health and you will need it for the quiz AND for Grunty after. Some squares make you do a little challenge too, so be ready.

OK so this is the BIG MYSTERY. Everybody at my school who has Banjo-Kazooie talks about it at lunch. There are supposed to be some secret eggs in the game, big special ones, not the regular blue eggs Kazooie shoots, and also an ice key. And you can't get them. Or you can and nobody knows how. That's the mystery.

Here is what people say. I am putting ALL of it because I don't know which one is true:

• My friend Luke says you can see the ice key in Freezeezy Peak but you can't get to it. I have looked all over Freezeezy Peak like 50 times. I have not seen it. Luke has not shown me.
• A kid in sixth grade says the eggs are for the next Banjo game, and you'll bring them over from this one somehow. HOW??? It's a cartridge.
• Somebody else says there is a code you put in that opens them up. Nobody knows the code.
• My cousin says he got one of the eggs. My cousin is lying. He also said he had 100 Jiggies at Easter and then I watched him play and he didn't even have the Beak Bomb.

WHAT I THINK: I don't know. I really really want to know. Maybe they're in there because they're going to make another Banjo game and they'll tell us then. If they make one I am going to get it the first day.
