My ten best rides EVER |

In RollerCoaster Tycoon every ride gets three numbers after you test it. Excitement is how fun it is (higher is better!!). Intensity is how scary and fast it is (too high and nobody gets on, too low and it's boring). Nausea is how much it makes you want to throw up (lower is better unless you are a handyman who wants something to do).
Here are my ten best, in order of excitement!! E = excitement, I = intensity, N = nausea. |

Why is the Purple Panic #1? Because I worked on it for three whole days!! It starts with a really tall lift hill, then a big drop, then three loops in a row, then two corkscrews, then a helix around the flower garden, then the brakes. I tested it about 20 times and kept changing it to get the intensity down from 8 to under 7. Now everybody rides it and hardly anybody throws up. Hardly anybody.
Why isn't the Barf-o-Matic on here? Because NOBODY RODE IT. See my main page. RIP. |
The BEST part of RollerCoaster Tycoon is you can click on any guest and see what they're thinking. They all have numbers instead of names, like Guest 1342, but you can rename them. I named one Nicole and she threw up on the Purple Panic. (The guest, not my sister.) Here are the funniest thoughts I have seen:
A guest coming off Nicole's Nightmare thinking "I feel sick" and then walking STRAIGHT to the hot dog stand. Why???
A whole line of people standing next to the Barf-o-Matic all thinking it looked too intense for them. Like 40 of them. Just standing there. Thinking.
A guest thinking he wanted to go on something more thrilling than the Purple Panic. EXCUSE ME??? It has THREE LOOPS!!
A guest who wouldn't pay to go on the Lightning Lap because it cost too much. It cost $2. In the game. Cheapskate!!
A guest who was thinking the park was really clean and tidy, standing right next to a puddle of throw-up. I fired nobody, but I was close.
A guest in Evergreen Gardens who was lost for so long that he wanted to go home. I felt so bad I built him a bench.
