Lily's Page!!!
| Hello, this is Lily's mom. Lily asked if she could have a home page like her cousin, so we are making one together on a Saturday morning. I'm typing this first part while she sits next to me and supervises. She would like you to know it is "HER page, not my page." Fair enough! She is going to take over the keyboard now. She types with two fingers, so please be patient. We may be here until lunch. — Lily's Mom |
HI!!!!! IT'S ME LILY!!!!!
I am 9. I am in fourth grade. My mom is letting me type now!!! She is watching but she said she won't fix anything unless I ask. I am typing with two fingers and it is going GREAT.
MY FAVORITE COLOR IS PURPLE. That is why this part is purple.
MY HAMSTER NIBBLES
Nibbles is my hamster!!! He is golden and white and he is the cutest hamster in the whole world and maybe space. He sleeps ALL day and then at night he runs on his wheel squeak squeak squeak and my dad says "that hamster is training for the Olympics." He puts sunflower seeds in his cheeks until his face is REALLY fat and then he goes in his house and takes them out again. That is where he keeps his snacks. I do that too but with Pokemon cards.
One time Nibbles got in his ball and rolled all the way into the kitchen and bonked into the refrigerator. He was OK. He was just surprised.
Things Nibbles likes:
- sunflower seeds
- a tiny piece of carrot
- his tube
- me
OK I CHANGED MY MIND. MY FAVORITE COLOR IS PINK NOW.
Because Nibbles's nose is pink. So this part is pink. Sorry purple.
MY BEST FRIEND
My best friend is Kayla!!! We have been best friends since the first day of second grade when she let me use her glitter pen. We have matching Beanie Babies. They are Peace the bear, the tie-dye one. Hers is named Peace and mine is named Peace Two. We are going to be best friends FOREVER and live next door when we are grown ups and our houses will have a tunnel.
WHAT I WANT TO BE WHEN I GROW UP
A veterinarian AND a pop star!!!!! I will fix animals in the day and sing at night. If a dog is sad I will sing to it. My pop star name is going to be Lily Sparkle. My dad says a veterinarian has to go to school for a really long time. That is OK. I will sing on the way.
WAIT MY FAVORITE COLOR IS TURQUOISE
Like the ocean in my Little Mermaid movie. I forgot about turquoise. Turquoise is so pretty. I am really sorry pink.
MY DRAWING
I made a drawing for my page but our scanner is broken so I will TELL you it.
It is Nibbles on top of a rainbow. The rainbow has seven colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. (Indigo is like dark blue but fancier.) Nibbles is wearing a crown because he is the king of the rainbow. There is a sun in the corner and the sun has sunglasses on. On a cloud there is me and Kayla waving. There are 11 hearts. I counted. There is also a flower that got too big but I said it is a magic flower so it is OK. I used EVERY marker and the purple one ran out. (Sorry purple, again.)
It is on the refrigerator now. It is the best thing on the refrigerator.
OK FOR REAL MY FAVORITE COLOR IS RAINBOW
because then I don't have to pick. THE END!!!
| P.S. from Mom: the guestbook link below comes to my e-mail, and I read the nice ones out loud to Lily at breakfast. Nibbles also listens. Thank you for visiting! |
