The Sorting Hat Quiz

How it works: Get a piece of paper. For each question, pick the answer that is MOST like you and write down its letter. Be honest! The Hat can tell. When you're done, count up which letter you have the most of and scroll down.

Mostly A: GRYFFINDOR! You're brave and you don't back down. Harry, Ron and Hermione's house. Head of house is Professor McGonagall, the house ghost is Nearly Headless Nick, and you get into the common room through the portrait of the Fat Lady if you know the password. (This is my house. The Hat didn't even have to think about it.)

Mostly B: RAVENCLAW! You're clever and you love learning things. Ravenclaws are the smart ones. The books haven't told us much about Ravenclaw yet, but Harry plays their Seeker in book 3 and she's really good. (Ivy got Ravenclaw. She says that makes her smarter than me. It doesn't.)

Mostly C: HUFFLEPUFF! You're loyal, fair and a hard worker, and you'd never leave a friend behind. Some people think Hufflepuff is boring. Those people are wrong. Their Seeker, Cedric Diggory, beat Harry in book 3 (because of the Dementors, but still), and he offered to play it over. That's a Hufflepuff. The house ghost is the Fat Friar.

Mostly D: SLYTHERIN! You're ambitious and you know how to get what you want. Draco Malfoy's house, and Professor Snape is the head. The common room is down in the dungeons and the ghost is the Bloody Baron. Not every Slytherin has to be bad, though. I'm pretty sure. Mostly sure.

A tie? The Hat lets you pick! That's what happened to Harry, sort of. Tell me your house! [email protected] So far: Gryffindor 31, Ravenclaw 17, Hufflepuff 12, Slytherin 9. (Nobody wants to admit to Slytherin.)
