Caption: The Case of the Missing Pepperoni. This is Cheesetown. Even the buildings are made of cheese! Panel 2: Pizza Cat zooms by on his green skateboard, holding up a stack of pizza boxes. Caption: And this is Pizza Cat! He delivers pizza and fights crime! ZOOM! Panel 3: Anchovy, a little gray kitten in a big blue cap, runs after him. Caption: This is Anchovy. He is small but very brave. ANCHOVY: Wait for me, Pizza Cat!!! Panel 4: In the Pizza Palace kitchen, Pizza Cat stares at a big empty jar that says PEPPERONI. PIZZA CAT: Hey! Where's all the pepperoni??? Panel 5: Chief Barker, a big brown police dog, bursts in the door. CHIEF BARKER: Pizza Cat! All the pepperoni in Cheesetown is gone!!! GASP! To be continued!!!

Kaitlin says: This is the first page of Pizza Cat EVER on the Internet!!! The Pizza Palace is where Pizza Cat works. The jar says PEPPERONI because that's what is supposed to be in it.

Pizza Cat number 1, page 2. Panel 1: Pizza Cat holds up his fist. PIZZA CAT: This is a job for Pizza Cat! ANCHOVY: And Anchovy! Panel 2: Chief Barker heads off the wrong way. CHIEF BARKER: Leave it to me! I'll sniff out the crook! SNIFF! SNIFF! Panel 3: Pizza Cat looks through a magnifying glass at a trail of red crumbs on the sidewalk. PIZZA CAT: Look! Pepperoni crumbs! Panel 4: Through a big magnifying glass, a teeny tiny footprint. ANCHOVY: And a teeny tiny footprint! Panel 5: ANCHOVY: Who has feet that tiny??? PIZZA CAT: A mouse!!! Panel 6: Caption: Meanwhile, in a secret hideout... In the dark, a black mouse shape with glowing green goggles stands next to a pile of pepperoni. VOICE: Hee hee hee! It's all mine!!! Who is it??? Find out in 2 weeks!!!

Kaitlin says: Chief Barker is going the WRONG WAY. He does that a lot. Alejandra colored the secret hideout and it used up a whole dark blue marker.

Pizza Cat number 1, page 3. Panel 1: Pizza Cat and Anchovy ride their skateboards down the street after the trail of crumbs. Caption: Pizza Cat and Anchovy followed the crumbs all over Cheesetown! ZOOOOOM! Panel 2: A white mouse in a lab coat runs away dragging a sack full of pepperoni. PIZZA CAT: Stop in the name of pizza! Panel 3: The crumbs go right up to a mouse hole in a cheese wall, and a pink tail is just disappearing inside. VOICE FROM THE HOLE: You'll never catch me, Pizza Cat! Hee hee hee! Panel 4: CRASH! Chief Barker stands dizzy between knocked-over trash cans, with stars going around his head. CHIEF BARKER: ...Where did everybody go? Panel 5: Pizza Cat and Anchovy stand by a door with a sign on it that says SECRET LAB, KEEP OUT!!! ANCHOVY: It says keep out. PIZZA CAT: It doesn't say keep out CATS! To be continued!!!

Kaitlin says: Anchovy's skateboard is purple. Pizza Cat gave it to him for his birthday. My dad says the KEEP OUT CATS part is his favorite.

Pizza Cat number 1, page 4. Panel 1: Caption: The secret lab!!! A purple room with bubbling beakers on a table, a pile of pepperoni, and a big gray machine with dials and a green hose that says PEPPERONI VACUUM 3000. Pizza Cat and Anchovy peek in. ANCHOVY: Whoa... Panel 2: The mouse stands on top of the machine with lightning bolts around him. MOUSE: I am... Dr. Mousenstein!!! Panel 3: Pizza Cat points at him, really mad. PIZZA CAT: You took all the pepperoni in Cheesetown! Panel 4: DR. MOUSENSTEIN: And now... I'm taking all the cheese!!! Panel 5: ANCHOVY: But the whole town is made of cheese!!! Panel 6: Dr. Mousenstein pulls the lever on the machine. VRRRMMM! DR. MOUSENSTEIN: Exactly! Mwa-ha-ha! Uh-oh!!! To be continued in 2 weeks!!!

Kaitlin says: The PEPPERONI VACUUM 3000 is the biggest machine I ever drew. The lightning is because he's a scientist. Scientists always have lightning.

Pizza Cat number 1, page 5. Panel 1: SHLOOORP! The vacuum hose sucks Anchovy's blue cap right off his head. ANCHOVY: Help!!! It's got my hat! Panel 2: Pizza Cat grabs Anchovy's paw so he doesn't get sucked in too. PIZZA CAT: Hang on, Anchovy!!! Panel 3: A light bulb over Pizza Cat's head. PIZZA CAT: Wait! I've got an idea! Panel 4: Pizza Cat throws a pizza right into the hose. FWOOSH! PIZZA CAT: One extra-cheese pizza... delivered!!! Panel 5: KA-BLOOEY!!! The machine blows up in a giant yellow explosion and pepperoni flies everywhere. Pizza Cat and Anchovy are shocked, and Dr. Mousenstein goes flying. DR. MOUSENSTEIN: Noooo! My vacuum!!! Next time: the last page!!!

Kaitlin says: KA-BLOOEY is my favorite sound effect ever. I made my dad do every letter a different color. The vacuum got clogged because the pizza had EXTRA cheese. That's science.

Pizza Cat number 1, page 6. Panel 1: Pepperoni is falling everywhere. Chief Barker runs in. CHIEF BARKER: Freeze!!! Pizza Cat, with a pepperoni on his cap: You're late, Chief. Panel 2: Dr. Mousenstein cries in a puddle of tears. DR. MOUSENSTEIN: Waaah! Nobody ever invites me to pizza parties! SNIFF! Panel 3: Pizza Cat holds his arms out wide. PIZZA CAT: You can come to my pizza party! Tonight! Panel 4: Dr. Mousenstein smiles with hearts all around him. DR. MOUSENSTEIN: Really??? I'm sorry I took the pepperoni! Panel 5: Caption: So Pizza Cat threw the biggest pizza party Cheesetown ever saw! Everybody came! Pizza Cat, Anchovy, Dr. Mousenstein and Chief Barker wear party hats around a giant pizza, with balloons and streamers. DR. MOUSENSTEIN: Best day ever!!! Panel 6: Night, with a moon and stars, and two yellow eyes in the dark. Captions: THE END... ...OR IS IT???

Kaitlin says: THE END!!! (Or is it???) Anchovy got his cap back. It was inside the vacuum. Now it smells like pepperoni. Sorry this page took 3 weeks. School started and I have homework every night, even Fridays.
