Back to School Bunco
Apples on every table, brand-new #2 pencils for the score pads, and the prizes came in brown lunch sacks with our names on them in Gina's best teacher printing. Everybody brought a story about the first day of school. Joy's kindergartner told his teacher he already knew everything and could he go home now. |
Tuesday, October 12 at my house (Vonda's) |
Monster Mash Bunco
Costumes! Encouraged, not required, but encouraged. There will be a prize for best costume by secret ballot, and I'm paying for it myself so it doesn't come out of the dues. Caramel apples, cider, and a punch bowl with dry ice if I can figure out where you buy dry ice. |
Tuesday, November 9 at Diane's |
Y2K Bunco
Diane says if all the computers crash on New Year's, at least we'll still have a game that doesn't need electricity. (We tried that. See the ice storm on the front page.) Prizes are survival kits: flashlights, batteries, bottled water and a bag of M&M's. Please bring a canned good for the church food pantry. |
Tuesday, December 14 at Janet's |
Christmas Bunco & the Crowning of the Bunco Queen
The big one! Ornament exchange, $10 limit, wrapped. The Christmas kitty pays for the food and for the year-end prizes, and the player with the most Buncos for the whole year gets crowned Bunco Queen of 1999 with a real rhinestone tiara. We'll also draw the 2000 hosts out of a hat. |
