Every Wednesday at the end of small groups we write prayer requests on index cards, and Pastor Chuck says it's okay for me to put the ones people want shared up here, so the whole youth group can keep praying for them all week, even the people who missed Wednesday. First names only!! If a request is private, it goes to Pastor Chuck and NOT on this page. If you want something taken down, e-mail me and it's gone. No questions.

Please pray for these every day this week. Even just a quick one in the car. God hears the quick ones too.

• Krista's grandma is having heart surgery on Thursday, September 30. She's the one who comes to every one of our concerts and brings the lemon bars. Krista is really scared. Pray for the doctors and for the whole family, and for Krista to have peace.

• Unspoken, for a friend. One of us has parents who are getting a divorce. She said I could put it up here as long as I didn't put her name. She says it's like the floor fell out. Pray for her, and for her little brother, and for both her parents. And if you know who it is, just be her friend. Don't make her talk about it.

• Dustin's dad is looking for a job. The plant where he worked for eleven years closed in August. Pray that something opens up soon.

• Brittany just started high school and she says it's HUGE and she gets lost every day. Pray for her to find good friends. (Brittany, you already found us!! :)

• The Fall Retreat on October 8-10. Safe driving, good weather, open hearts, and that nobody gets sick. Also pray for the speaker.

• The people in North Carolina whose homes flooded after Hurricane Floyd. We saw it on the news and it's so sad. Pastor Chuck says the church is collecting cleaning supplies to send, so bring buckets, bleach and mops on Sunday.

• Taiwan, after the big earthquake this week. So many people lost their homes.

• Our schools. Since Columbine in April a lot of kids are scared at school, and a lot of kids are lonely, and those can be the same kids. Pray we notice the ones who sit by themselves at lunch. Then go sit with them.

• Antonio takes his driver's test on Monday. Pray for him. And pray for everybody else on the road. (Sorry Antonio!!! JK!!!)

• SETH IS HOME!!! He had his appendix out on September 8. He was in the hospital four days and it was scary at first because it was close to bursting. He came to youth group LAST NIGHT with his scar and showed it to everybody whether they wanted to see it or not. The doctor says he can go on the retreat but no capture the flag. Thank you God!!!

• A BABY!!! Pastor Chuck and Mrs. Lisa are having their first baby in February!!! They told us at youth group and everybody screamed. Pastor Chuck says if it's a boy he wants to name it after a member of dc Talk. Mrs. Lisa says he does not get a vote on that.

• See You at the Pole - 31 kids at my school, up from 12 last year!!! (Read about it on the home page.)

• Kerri's mom finished her last chemo treatment on September 17 and her doctor is really happy with how she's doing. We prayed for her all spring and summer. Keep praying, but also: PRAISE GOD!!!

• Willie asked us to pray for his friend from the football team who he invited to youth group, and the friend CAME, and he's been back two more times, and he's going on the retreat!!!

• The car wash made $412 for the mission trip!!! Thank you to everybody who came!!
