| Gary built me a shelf in the den for my cars two Christmases ago. It is full. He says he's not building another one. We'll see about that. Here's what's on it, what I'm hunting for, and how I trade. |
| WHAT I HAVE | SCALE |
| 1998 DuPont Monte Carlo, rainbow paint, still in the box | 1:24 |
| 1998 DuPont Monte Carlo, OUT of the box (for looking at) | 1:24 |
| 1997 Monte Carlo coin bank (the first one I ever bought) | 1:24 |
| 1995 championship season Monte Carlo | 1:64 |
| 1993 rookie year Lumina, from a flea market, a little scratched | 1:64 |
| 24 hauler, the whole big rig | 1:64 |
| Eleven more 1:64 cars from grocery store racks, all DuPont | 1:64 |
| A signed hero card that came through the fan club | — |
|
WANT LIST • A 1:24 of the 1997 Daytona 500 winning car • Any 1:24 from the 1994 season (first Brickyard!) • A 1:64 of the 1998 car to replace the one my nephew took to school and lost • A 1998 championship season hat in good shape (mine is sweaty) |

BRENDA'S TRADING RULES 1. E-mail me first with what you have and what you want. Be honest about condition. Tell me if the box has a dent. I'll tell you if mine does. 2. We each pay our own postage. I ship Priority Mail, wrapped in newspaper and a grocery sack, then the box. Never had one broken yet. 3. If it's your first trade with me, whoever lives farther from Indianapolis ships first. (Only fair, I'm the one who has to go to the post office on my lunch break.) 4. I don't sell. I trade. I'm not in this to make money. I'm in it to fill the shelf. 5. I have a few Earnhardt, Jarrett and Labonte cars that people have given me as gifts and jokes over the years. Those ARE for trade. The Earnhardt things in Gary's half of the den are NOT for trade. I asked. Believe me, I asked. |
