Filling It In

  1. Change "Recipe Name" in both places to the name of your recipe. The one between the title tags is what shows at the very top of the browser window and on the printout.
  2. Fill in your name, how many it serves, the pan, the oven and the time.
  3. For each ingredient, copy the four lines from <tr> down to </tr> and paste them in again, then change the amount and the ingredient. Keep them in the order you use them.
  4. For each step, add a line that starts with <li> and ends with </li>. Don't number them. The browser does that.
  5. Use &frac12;, &frac14; and &frac34; for the fractions that have codes, and type the rest out: 1/3, 2/3, 1/8.
  6. Save it with a short name, no spaces, ending in .html: poundcake.html. In Notepad, put the name in quotation marks when you save, "poundcake.html", or Notepad will tack .txt on the end and call it poundcake.html.txt.
  7. Open it in your browser and print it. Read the printout as if you'd never made the dish. Then upload it with the File Manager.

If you'd like to see one filled in all the way, here is my peach cobbler.
