1. The three kids turned out wonderful.
2. The four grandchildren turned out even better.
3. Sunday dinner is at two o'clock. If you're late, you heat up your own plate.
4. Rusty was the best dog there ever was.
5. It's Taylor ham, not pork roll. We moved down the Shore and we will not be converted.
6. The ocean is better after Labor Day, when you can find a parking spot.
7. You always dance at a wedding. Even if your knees say no.
8. Never go to bed angry. (We have stayed up very late a few times.)
9. The kitchen is white now and it is staying white.
10. We would do it all again. The dance, the flat tire, the rain, the dog, even the wrong turn.
