1999 has been a bad year for viruses. In March the Melissa virus came in e-mail as a Word document and mailed itself to the first 50 people in your address book. Then on April 26th the CIH virus (some people call it Chernobyl) went off and wiped out the start of the hard drive on computers all over the world. On some machines it even erased the BIOS chip so the computer wouldn't start at all. I fixed more computers the week after April 26th than any other week since I opened the shop. Ray's rules for staying virus-free:
Think you've got a virus? Don't keep turning it on and off. Shut it down and call me. |

|
"Ray came out to the house on a Saturday, got our new computer
hooked up to the Internet and set up my e-mail so I can send out rainout
notices to the parents. He even stuck around to answer all my dumb
questions." - Mike D., coach of the Oakdale Tigers

|
"Our old computer at the farm was so slow. Ray put in more memory
and a bigger hard drive for a lot less than a new one would cost. Runs
