~*Still Hanson*~ two years later and I'm not going ANYWHERE |
|
Hi!! I'm Kelsey, I'm 15, and I live in Minnesota where it is already
getting cold, ugh. I got Middle of Nowhere for my 13th birthday in the
summer of 1997 and played it so many times the case cracked. That was TWO
YEARS AGO. Since then, most of the girls at my school have moved on to the
Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC and Britney, and every time I say I still love
Hanson somebody hums MMMBop at me in a baby voice. Well guess what. I'm still here. I'm still a fan and I'm not embarrassed. This page is for everybody else who's still here too. (There are more of us than you think! Check the mailbag.) |

~ The Brothers ~
ISAAC (born November 17, 1980, so he's 18 now!) Guitar and the low voice. The oldest. He always seems like the one keeping the other two in line during interviews, like a big brother should. TAYLOR (born March 14, 1983, he's 16) Keyboards and most of the lead singing. He's the one on all my posters. He is SO cute!!! OK moving on. :) ZAC (born October 22, 1985, 14 next month!!) Drums, and the craziest one. Every time they're on TV he's making a face at the camera. He's the same age as my little brother but my little brother cannot play the drums, trust me, we've tried. They're from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and they write their own songs and play their own instruments, which is more than I can say for a certain other group that shall remain nameless (cough five guys who dance a lot cough). |

~ My Top 5 Hanson Songs ~
1. Weird - the slow one about feeling alone even with people all around you. I listened to this about a thousand times in 8th grade. 2. Where's the Love - the best one to sing in the car with the windows down. My mom knows all the words now. 3. Yearbook - kind of sad and creepy, about somebody who's missing from the yearbook. Proof they aren't just a "bubblegum" band. 4. MMMBop - YES it's still on my list. People forget it's actually about how friends come and go and only a few stay. That's not baby stuff. 5. A Minute Without You - just really happy. Good for mornings. |

~ What I Own ~
Middle of Nowhere (1997) - my first, the cracked case, still the best Snowed In (1997) - the Christmas one, I play it in July and my brother hates it 3 Car Garage (1998) - songs from those first two albums, all on one CD Live from Albertane (1998) - live! with a few new songs Tulsa, Tokyo and the Middle of Nowhere - the video. I know the whole thing by heart. Plus about 40 posters from Bop and Tiger Beat and a Hanson calendar that's still on August 1998 because I can't bear to turn it. |

~ The Best Night of My Life ~
Last summer my mom took me and my best friend Aimee to see them on the Albertane tour. We were so far back they looked like three little dots, but we screamed so much we couldn't talk the next day. My mom brought earplugs. She says she liked the slow songs best. I think she's secretly a fan now. Pictures are still on the roll in our camera because my mom keeps forgetting to take it in. MOM. PLEASE. |

They've been working on the next one all year and I'm trying SO HARD to be patient. When there's news I'll put it right here with a big NEW sign. Until then I'm keeping this spot open. |
