ALREADY HAPPENED
newest first. one line each, written the night of.

Thursday, September 23, 1999 · The Tin Shed, Athens · 21 and up · $4
About sixty people on a Thursday, which is a lot for a Thursday. Clint broke a string in the second song and played the rest of the set on five. Nobody noticed but Clint. Sold four tapes.
Saturday, September 18, 1999 · The Stockroom, Atlanta · 18 and up · $6
First time playing Atlanta. We opened, to about forty people, twelve of whom rode over with us in two cars. The sound man was great. They asked us back for November 20, see above.
Saturday, September 11, 1999 · a backyard on the east side · free · all ages
Arturo's roommate's birthday. We played on the patio with the drums on a sheet of plywood. A neighbor asked us to stop at 11, very politely, and we did, very politely.
Friday, September 3, 1999 · Juniper's, Athens · all ages · $3
Back-to-school show. Thirty-five people, half of them freshmen who had never heard of us and two of whom bought tapes anyway. Juniper's asked us back, which is why we're there October 1.
Saturday, August 21, 1999 · The Boiler Room, Athens · 18 and up · $5
First show of the fall. Third of four bands, on at midnight. Arturo's kick drum pedal broke in the last song and he finished it with his heel. Good crowd for the first weekend everybody was back in town.

THE TAPE
Yard Sale Weather, six songs, recorded in August in Arturo's living room on a borrowed four-track. $4 at shows, or on consignment at the record store downtown where I work (ask at the counter). $5 by mail: e-mail us and we'll tell you where to send it.

WHO WE ARE
CLINT HUNTLEYguitar, singing
MICKEY ARLINEbass, yelling
ARTURO SCRIBNERdrums
Together since January. The name is from a hand-lettered sign Clint saw on a highway south of town. We never found out what it meant.
