what's on my shelf, and how we trade Front Row · My Tape Library & Trading Rules Here's the shelf as of Labor Day weekend. Everything is recorded off the air at SP speed, one episode to a tape, labeled in my own handwriting, which the people I've traded with say is the worst handwriting in the Midwest.
PHIL'S TRADING RULES 1. E-mail me with what you've got and what you're after. I'll answer within a week, faster if I'm on my nights off. 2. Tape for tape: you mail me blank T-120s, name brand please, not the three-for-a-dollar kind from the gas station, and enough stamps to send them back. I fill them and mail them back within two weeks. 3. SP speed only. EP copies of copies turn into mud, and MST3K is already a little blurry to begin with. The silhouettes need to be silhouettes. 4. I leave the old promos and bumpers in. They're part of the history. 5. No money, ever. Not from me, not to me. This show grew because people passed it around for free, and I'm not going to be the one who changes that. If you ever see someone selling copies at a convention, walk away. 6. When episodes come out officially on tape, buy them. The people who made this show should get paid for it. 7. Rewind before you mail. Come on.
