On the show Sabrina points her finger, and lots of times she says a
little rhyme, and the magic happens. So I made up my own rhymes for things I would do if I was a
witch. I wrote them all myself in my notebook during indoor recess and
then typed them up. You have to point when you say them. They don't work.
I tried the broccoli one four times.
RULES OF MY SPELL BOOK: No mean spells. No turning anybody into
a pineapple, even Andy. Every spell has to be a nice one or a funny one.
That is the rule Sabrina would have.
1. The Homework Spell
Math and spelling, sit up straight,
finish yourselves by half past eight.
What it does: your homework does itself, but only the boring parts. You still have to do the fun parts, like the poster.
2. The Talking Cat Spell
Whiskers, whiskers, tail and paw,
tell me everything you saw.
What it does: Licorice can talk for one day. I want to know what she does when we're at school and why she sleeps in the bathtub.
3. The No More Broccoli Spell
Little trees upon my plate,
turn to something I don't hate.
What it does: broccoli turns into corn. (Not into cake, because then my mom would know.)
4. The Snow Day Spell
Snowflakes, snowflakes, fall all night,
make the bus stop deep and white.
What it does: one snow day. Only one, on a Friday, so it's a long weekend. I'm not greedy.
5. The Little Brother Spell
Brother, brother, loud and small,
quiet down and play with your ball.
What it does: Andy is quiet for ONE HOUR so I can watch TGIF. Then he goes back to normal. I'm not turning him into anything. (See the rules.)
6. The Clean Room Spell
Socks and shirts and books and shoes,
find your places, I won't lose.
What it does: everything puts itself away. The "I won't lose" part means I can find everything after. That's the hard part.
7. The Picture Day Spell
Hair stay nice and smile stay wide,
no more eyes closed, no more hide.
What it does: a good school picture for once. Last year my eyes were closed. They didn't do retakes. My grandma has it on her refrigerator anyway.
8. The Sleepover Spell
Mom, oh Mom, please hear my plea,
say yes to Ashley sleeping over with me.
What it does: you know. (This one doesn't rhyme right. I'm working on it.)
9. The Couch Spell
Licorice, Licorice, sharp and quick,
scratch the post and not the couch, that's the trick.
What it does: Licorice stops scratching the couch. My mom wants this one more than I do.
10. The Last Spell
Every person, every pet,
have the best day you've had yet.
What it does: everybody in the whole world has a good day at the same time. If I could only cast one spell this is the one I would pick. Sabrina would pick it too I bet.

If you have a spell you made up, e-mail it to me and if it is a nice one
I will put it on here with your first name!! No mean ones please.
