That means hello in Japanese!!! Welcome to my page!!! My name is Amy, I'm 16, and I am completely, totally, one hundred percent in LOVE with anime. (That's Japanese animation, Dad. I know you're reading this. Hi Dad!!!)

I made this page so I would have somewhere to put ALL my feelings about anime, because my friends say I talk about it too much at lunch. They are right. So now I will talk about it HERE. Forever!!!

♥ Sailor Moon ♥
Sailor Moon is the BEST SHOW EVER MADE and I will fight anyone about it (nicely). I tape it every afternoon on Cartoon Network so I can watch it again at night. My favorite Sailor Scout is Sailor Mercury, and it is NOT just because her name is Amy in the English version!!! (Okay, it's a little bit because of that.) She's the smart one, and she's kind of shy, and she has a tiny computer that figures out the monster's weak spot. Her attack is Mercury Bubbles Blast, which is where my e-mail name comes from. SO cool.

♥ Dragon Ball Z ♥
DBZ is technically my little brother's show, but I watch it with him every single day and I am NOT ashamed. Vegeta is SO dramatic!!! Every episode is like five minutes of fighting and twenty minutes of powering up, and I love every second. My brother and I yell "KA-ME-HA-ME-HA!!!" at each other across the living room. He always wins because he's louder. Mom says we both need to go outside.

♥ Pokemon ♥
Okay, okay, Pokemon is for little kids. I DON'T CARE!!! Pikachu is the cutest thing in the entire universe. The Pokemon movie comes out in NOVEMBER and me and my friends are going on opening weekend, even if we are the oldest people in the theater by about eight years!!!

♥ Also!!! ♥
I rented Kiki's Delivery Service from the video store and watched it three times in one weekend. Kiki's little black cat Jiji is the best. And my friend Jen has some Ranma 1/2 tapes that we have watched about a million times.

♥ My Fan Art ♥
I draw EVERY DAY!!! Mostly in the margins of my notebooks (sorry, teachers). My best one ever is Sailor Mercury and Sailor Jupiter sitting on a big crescent moon with sparkles all around them, in colored pencil. It took me three whole weeks! The eyes are the hardest part, because anime eyes have like four different shiny spots in them and if you get one wrong they look sleepy.

I also drew a Pikachu for my little cousin and she taped it to the ceiling over her bed so she can see it when she falls asleep. That is the nicest thing anybody has ever done with my art!!!

I would scan them for you but we don't have a scanner. My friend's dad has one at his office and he said MAYBE. So...

♥ Learning Japanese!!! ♥
I found a book at the library about learning Japanese and I have renewed it FOUR times (sorry, library!!). Japanese has an alphabet called hiragana with 46 letters, and I know 31 of them already!!! I practice by writing notes to my friends in hiragana. They can't read them, which is kind of the point. ^_^

I tried to type hiragana on here but it just came out as little boxes, so you will have to trust me. Also, I found out names from other countries, like Amy, get written in a whole different alphabet called katakana. So that's NEXT!!!

Words I know so far:

• arigatou = thank you
• kawaii = cute (I say this about 50 times a day)
• sugoi = amazing!!
• ganbatte = do your best!

Someday I am going to go to Japan and order food ALL BY MYSELF. That's my dream!!!

♥ My Friends ♥
My best friends are Jen and Tasha. We decided Jen is Sailor Mars (she's bossy, she says that's a compliment) and Tasha is Sailor Jupiter (she's tall and she can open any jar) and I'm Sailor Mercury, obviously. Every Friday we have an anime sleepover with popcorn and a big stack of tapes and we stay up WAY too late. For Halloween we are going to be Sailor Scouts!!! Tasha's mom is helping us with the bows.
