HOWIE & THE HOLSTEINS
Fall 1999 Schedule
<< Back to Squeezebox Saturday

Here's where we'll be this fall. Public dances, festivals and fish fries are open to everybody, so come on out and say hello, and tell me you saw it on the Internet. Wedding dances and Christmas parties are private, so please don't show up at those unless you're invited, no matter how good the cake sounds.

Times are our playing times. Festivals usually start earlier with food and games for the kids. If the weather turns, call the place, not me. I'll be loading the van.

Still Open This Fall

Sunday, October 17; Saturday, November 13; Saturday, November 27; and Saturday, December 18. That's it for 1999. If you're planning a wedding, an anniversary or a church supper and want live music, write me soon. We're already booking weddings for next summer.

About New Year's Eve. People keep asking me if we're worried about this Y2K business. Here's the plan. If the power goes out at midnight, the accordion doesn't plug in, the sax doesn't plug in, Loren's tuba doesn't plug in, and Gus has been playing in the dark for years anyway. We'll be fine. Bring a flashlight and your dancing shoes.
