Hi! My name is Caleb and I'm 11 and I LOVE Pokemon. I have Pokemon Blue and my best friend has Red so we trade all the time with the Game Link Cable. I've beaten the Elite Four 3 times and I have 139 Pokemon in my Pokedex. My mom helped me make this page but I wrote everything. WHAT'S ON MY PAGE: |

HOW TO BEAT THE GYMS
1. Brock (Pewter City, Rock, Boulder Badge) - If you picked Squirtle or Bulbasaur it's easy. If you picked Charmander, good luck, go catch a Mankey or something. (Only in Red though.) 2. Misty (Cerulean City, Water, Cascade Badge) - Her Starmie is really hard. Use Pikachu or a grass Pokemon. 3. Lt. Surge (Vermilion City, Electric, Thunder Badge) - You need Cut to get in, and you get Cut from the captain on the S.S. Anne. Use a ground Pokemon. I used a Diglett from Diglett's Cave. Electric attacks don't do anything to it! Also you have to find the switches in the trash cans to open the door. It's really annoying. 4. Erika (Celadon City, Grass, Rainbow Badge) - Use fire or flying. 5. Koga (Fuchsia City, Poison, Soul Badge) - The gym has invisible walls. Just keep walking into stuff. Use a psychic Pokemon. 6. Sabrina (Saffron City, Psychic, Marsh Badge) - The gym is all teleport pads. Psychic is really strong in this game so she's hard. Bug attacks are good against psychic, but there aren't very many good ones. 7. Blaine (Cinnabar Island, Fire, Volcano Badge) - You need the Secret Key from the Pokemon Mansion to get in. Answer the quiz questions in the gym to skip trainers. Use water! Torpedo beat him by himself. 8. Giovanni (Viridian City, Ground, Earth Badge) - He's the boss of Team Rocket!!! Use water or grass. |

THE ELITE FOUR
You have to go through Victory Road first, which has boulder puzzles, so bring a Pokemon that knows Strength. Also Moltres is in there!!! Then you fight all four in a row and you can't go back to heal, so bring LOTS of Full Restores and Revives.
I named my rival STINKY at the start of the game, so the Champion of the whole Pokemon League is named STINKY, and then I beat him. It's the best. |

RED vs. BLUE
Some Pokemon are only in one version, so you HAVE to trade to get all of them. Only in Red: Ekans, Arbok, Oddish, Gloom, Vileplume, Mankey, Primeape, Growlithe, Arcanine, Scyther, Electabuzz Only in Blue: Sandshrew, Sandslash, Vulpix, Ninetales, Meowth, Persian, Bellsprout, Weepinbell, Victreebel, Pinsir, Magmar Some Pokemon only evolve when you trade them: Kadabra, Machoke, Graveler and Haunter. So you need a friend for those too. |

THE MEW TRUCK (DOESN'T WORK)
Everybody says Mew is under the truck by the S.S. Anne and you have to use Strength on it. I tried it for like two hours. I also tried it after beating the Elite Four and after the S.S. Anne leaves and with every Pokemon in the front of my party. IT DOESN'T WORK. The truck is just a truck. My cousin says the only real way to get Mew is at some special Nintendo thing and I don't even know if that's true. |
