My name is Janice Holmquist. In 1973 my name was Janice Rudd, I was sixteen years old, and I gave birth to a baby boy who was placed for adoption a few days later. I have thought about him every single day since. He is 26 years old now. I am looking for him.

Please know that you don't owe me anything. I made a decision when I was a scared sixteen-year-old girl, and I have never once wanted to barge into the life you have. I only want you to know three things: that you were loved, that I didn't forget you, and that I'm here if you ever want to find me.

About me now

I'm 43. I live in Wichita, Kansas. I married a wonderful man named Ron in 1980, and we have two daughters, 17 and 14, who have known about their big brother for two years now and are more excited about this search than anybody. I work in the office of an elementary school. I like gardening, church choir and the Royals, even in years like this one.

My husband bought us a computer last Christmas and my younger daughter showed me how to make this page. I'm still learning, so please forgive how plain it is.
