Awards I Turned Down
Two, this year. One wanted me to put its banner ad at the top of my front page, and
the other gave out the same award to anybody who joined its WebRing, which I found out
when I noticed it was on about four hundred pages. An award ought to be for what you
made, not a way to get your link on somebody's front page. That's my two cents.
My Trophy Case Rules
Every award here links back to the people who gave it, because they were kind enough
to look at my page and I want you to go look at theirs. I saved every picture to my own
space so I'm not using up anybody else's. And they hang in the order I got them, newest
first, same as the ribbons on Chelsea's bulletin board.
Thank You
To Tim, Jen, Shirley, Vince, Charlie and Gladys: thank you. To my nephew, who taught me
what a <table> is: thank you. And to everybody who writes to tell me they took the
kids to a movie because of my page, or DIDN'T because of my page: that's the best award
of all. (But I'll still take the other kind. Just saying.)
