about me

I print other people's black-and-white photographs at a lab in Philadelphia, eight hours a day, in the dark. In a darkroom, nothing is the most important thing there is. No light under the door. No dust on the negative. No fingerprints on the paper. When nothing goes wrong, the picture comes out. I thought nothing deserved a page.

Mail is welcome. The best e-mail I've ever received came in August from a man in Ohio. It had no subject and no message. It's in the gallery.
