HEY Y'ALL!!! I'm Sarah and I'm 12 and I live in LOUISIANA, which is the same state where Britney Spears grew up!!! She is from Kentwood, which is a little town up by the Mississippi line. My mom says one day we can drive up there and just see it. I don't care if there's nothing to do there. It's KENTWOOD. This is my page all about Britney. | Her knee | In February she hurt her knee so bad at a rehearsal for the Sometimes video that they had to put off making it. And she still dances like THAT. I sprained my ankle at skating in May and laid on the couch for a week. |

I learned the WHOLE dance from the ...Baby One More Time video. It took me
about a month. Here is how I did it: every time it came on TV I stood in front
of my bedroom mirror and copied as much as I could before it was over. Then my
cousin taped it for me and I could rewind. I wore the tape out in a couple of
places, so now there's a fuzzy part in the middle of the gym part and I just
have to remember it. If you want to learn it too, here's how it goes (in my words): 1. The classroom. It starts with her sitting at a desk, bored, tapping her pencil, waiting for the bell. You have to tap on the beat or it doesn't count. The bell rings and EVERYBODY goes. 2. The hallway. This is the main part. She dances down the hall with the other kids behind her in rows. There's a lot of arm stuff, a shoulder part, and a part where everybody kneels down on one knee at the same time. My mirror is on my closet door so I only have about four steps of hallway, which is why I bumped into my bed eleven times. I counted. 3. The gym. She's on the bleachers singing and then the dancers come out on the floor. This is the hardest part. I can do it with the tape but I mess up the turn without it. 4. Outside. At the end they're outside dancing in the courtyard, and then it goes back to the classroom and she was just daydreaming the whole time. Which is what I do in math class, so I relate. I did the whole thing for my family on the Fourth of July in my aunt's carport, and Audrey did it with me. My uncle gave us a dollar each. My little brother said I looked like a windmill. He doesn't know anything. Tip: wear socks on a wood floor or a kitchen floor. Do NOT wear socks on stairs. Ask me how I know. |
| Over my bed: The BIG one, from the music store. When they took down the album display I asked the man if I could have it and he said yes!! It's almost as long as my bed. My mom had to help me tape it. | By the window: Three posters from teen magazines, one where she's wearing pink and two where she's laughing. The tape keeps coming off when it's humid, which in Louisiana is ALWAYS. |
| On my closet door: Around my mirror (the dancing mirror) I glued a frame of little pictures cut out of magazines. 23 pictures. I'm going for 50. | On the back of my door: A calendar my aunt gave me for my birthday. It's still on February because I don't want to turn the page off the best picture. |
| On my desk: The CD case, standing up, so she can watch me do my homework. It doesn't help me with my homework. | Coming soon: I'm going to be Britney for Halloween, with the pigtails and the pink fuzzy hair things and knee socks. My mom says yes if I wear a regular shirt and a sweater. Deal. |
