10:00 or so. Everything is subtitled unless it says (dub). Schedule subject to change if a

The Mononoke trip
Princess Mononoke opens on October 29 in only a few cities, with more to follow if it does
well. The minute it's booked anywhere within a couple of hours of campus, we'll post the plan here
and at the screening: date, theater, cars and drivers. If you can drive and have room for four,
tell Levi.
Spring series: the candidates
We'll vote December 2 on the main series for spring. Only unlicensed shows are eligible for the
fansub slot, per our policy. Nominations so far:
- Kare Kano (His and Her Circumstances): high school romantic comedy that turns
serious. Melissa's pick.
- Cardcaptor Sakura: a fourth-grader collecting magic cards. Way better than it sounds.
Jessica's pick.
- Slam Dunk: basketball, delinquents, more basketball. Levi's pick.
- Yawara!: a girl who's a judo genius and just wants to be normal. My pick, and I'm going
to lose.
Plus finishing Kenshin, of course. We're not leaving Kenshin hanging.
