June 1 through August 29, 1999
REPORT | THE NINETY-DAY LOG |
| o o o o |
o o o o o o | | The counter readings, four a day, totaled by week. "ME" is every load I made myself: editing,
checking, showing the page to people, my browser tests, and the readings from my office. "FAM" is Alice,
Jared, Stacie and my mother, from the tally sheet taped beside our computer (Stacie, who is 8, kept the
neatest tally of anyone) and my mother's word for it. "VIS" is everything else. "CTR" is what the counter
said on Sunday night. |

| MONTH | ME | FAM | VIS | TOT |
| June (30 days) | 455 | 195 | 703 | 1,353 | | July (31 days) | 412 | 183 | 903 | 1,498 | | Aug. 1-29 (29 days) | 268 | 142 | 857 | 1,267 | | TOTAL | 1,135 | 520 | 2,463 | 4,118 |
Yes, 412 of my own loads in July. Most of them were the week I rebuilt the site with tables, when I
saved and reloaded every few minutes for six evenings straight. That's 13 a day for the month. If you're
wondering how much of your own counter is you, the answer is probably "more than you'd like." |
