- Ten teams. Eight players each: 1 quarterback, 2 running backs, 2 wide receivers, 1 tight end, 1 kicker, and 1 team defense.

- Lineup changes and pickups are due Saturday at 6 p.m., by phone to the Commish or in person at the parts counter. Late calls don't count. Ask Jim.
- Free agents: anybody not on a roster. One pickup a week, free. You drop somebody to make room.

We don't count sacks. I'm not adding up sacks out of the box score at eleven o'clock at night. Bring it up at the banquet.
- Weeks 1 to 9: everybody plays everybody once.
- Weeks 10 to 13: the Week 1 to 4 games again.
- After Week 13, the top four go to the playoffs: 1 vs. 4 and 2 vs. 3 in Week 14, and the championship in Week 15. Weeks 16 and 17 are off so nobody fights about it at Christmas dinner.
- Tie game in a week: the team whose kicker scored more wins. Still tied, it's a tie, and you both get half a win.
- Ties in the standings go to the team with more total points.
$20 a team, ten teams, $200:
| Champion | $120 and the trophy |
| Runner-up | $60 |
| Third place (losing semifinalist with more points) | $20 |
| Total | $200 |
Last place buys the first pitcher at the banquet in January. The trophy is a bowling trophy Fonz won in 1983 with a football glued on top. It goes home with the champ and comes back next August, football and all.
- Any two owners can trade any players, any number, until the trade deadline after Week 11.
- Call or tell the Commish. It counts starting with the next week's lineups.
