Hey. I'm Tyler and I'm 12 and this is my page. It's called the Dragon's Den because my room is called the Dragon's Den (there is a sign on the door that says so). I made this whole page myself in Notepad with a book from the library, my dad only helped with the uploading part. It looks best in 800x600 with Netscape. ** DRAGONS **

Dragons are the coolest thing ever and if you don't agree you can leave. I have been drawing dragons since 2nd grade and I have like 3 sketchbooks full. I was going to put my drawings on here but my dad's scanner is not working (it says the device is not connected even though it IS connected) so drawings coming when Dad gets the scanner working!!! He says maybe this weekend. He said that last weekend too. DRAGON GALLERY - UNDER CONSTRUCTION DRAGON FACTS (all true, I looked them up) There is a REAL dragon. The Komodo dragon is a giant lizard that lives in Indonesia and can grow to 10 feet long. It's the biggest lizard in the world. It can't breathe fire but it has really bad bite. I saw one at the zoo and it just laid there but it was still awesome. Chinese dragons don't have wings but they can still fly. They are good luck, not evil like in European stories. They are long like a snake and they are connected with water and rain. In European stories dragons live in caves, hoard gold and breathe fire, and knights go and fight them. Like Saint George and the dragon. The best dragon in a book is Smaug from The Hobbit. He sleeps on a mountain of treasure and has one missing scale which is how he gets beat. Read it. A baby dragon is called a "dragonet" or a "wyrmling" depending who you ask. A wyvern is like a dragon but it only has 2 legs and 2 wings. A real dragon has 4 legs AND wings. People mix these up all the time and it is very annoying. The dragon in the movie Dragonheart was named Draco and Sean Connery did his voice. That movie is really good. MY STORY IDEAS I am writing a book. Here are some of my ideas so far. DON'T STEAL THEM. A kid finds a dragon egg in a cave behind a waterfall and it hatches and he has to hide it in his room from his parents but it keeps getting bigger. (This is the main one. I have 14 pages so far.) A dragon who is scared of fire. Dragons are real but they live on the far side of the moon which is why we never see them. A knight and a dragon become friends and team up against an evil wizard.

** POKEMON RED/BLUE TIPS **

I have Pokemon Red on my Game Boy (the see-through purple one) and my friend has Blue and we trade with the link cable. I have 127 Pokemon in my Pokedex so far. Here are my tips that I figured out myself or my friends told me. TIPS: Pick Squirtle if you're new. The first two gyms are Rock and Water so Squirtle beats Brock easy and you're fine against Misty. Charmander is the coolest (he turns into Charizard which is basically a DRAGON) but Brock will wreck you. I picked Charmander anyway because dragons. Some Pokemon are ONLY in Red and some are ONLY in Blue. Red has Ekans, Growlithe, Oddish, Scyther and Electabuzz. Blue has Sandshrew, Vulpix, Bellsprout, Pinsir and Magmar. You HAVE to trade to get all 150. That's why you need a friend with the other one. Also the ones that only evolve by trading: Kadabra, Machoke, Graveler and Haunter. Trade them and they evolve right away, then trade them back. The Snorlax that's sleeping in the road won't move until you get the Poke Flute from the old guy at the top of Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town. Then catch it, he's awesome. There's a free Eevee in Celadon City. Go in the back door of the big mansion and climb to the top. Then you pick a stone: Fire Stone = Flareon, Water Stone = Vaporeon, Thunder Stone = Jolteon. I picked Jolteon. The Safari Zone in Fuchsia City is the only place to get Chansey, Kangaskhan, Tauros and Scyther/Pinsir. You only get 500 steps and 30 safari balls so don't waste time. Dratini is the only Dragon-type family in the whole game (Dratini - Dragonair - Dragonite). You can win one at the Celadon Game Corner but it costs a TON of coins. Or fish for it with the Super Rod in the Safari Zone. Dragonite is my favorite Pokemon obviously. Dragon type is only weak against Ice in this game. The last Elite Four guy Lance uses Dragon Pokemon. Bring Ice attacks. Blizzard on a Lapras or Articuno takes care of him. The truck thing is FAKE. Everybody at school says there's a Mew under the truck by the S.S. Anne if you get Surf before the boat leaves. I did it. I got to the truck. There is NO MEW. There is nothing. Don't waste your time. Don't do the Missingno trick (the old man in Viridian and then surf up and down by Cinnabar). Yeah you get 99 Rare Candies but it messed up my Hall of Fame and the graphics got all weird. My friend's game is fine though so it's up to you. MY TEAM: Charizard (lv 58), Jolteon, Lapras, Dragonair (almost a Dragonite!!!), Snorlax, Alakazam (traded) WAITING FOR: Pokemon Yellow!!! It comes out in the US in October. It's the one where Pikachu follows you around outside his ball like in the TV show and you can get ALL THREE starters. I'm saving my allowance. I have $17 so far. Also the Pokemon movie is coming out this fall and I am totally going.

** MAX **

Max is my dog. He's a yellow lab and he is 4 years old and he weighs more than me. He is the best dog. Things about Max: He can catch a tennis ball in the air like 9 times out of 10. He sleeps on my floor in the Dragon's Den. He is the guard dragon. He ate one of my Pokemon cards (a Rattata so who cares). He is scared of the cat next door. The cat is like 8 pounds. When I play Game Boy he puts his head on my leg and sighs really loud until I stop. He knows sit, shake, lie down, and "go get Dad." If dragons were real Max would be friends with them. He's friends with everybody.

** MOVIES **

1. Star Wars (all of them). I saw Episode I in the theater this summer TWICE. The pod race is the best part and the two-sided lightsaber. Best movie of 1999 no contest. I have the original three on VHS and I've seen them like 50 times each. Empire is the best one. I am NOT going to argue about it. 2. The Iron Giant. Came out in August. A giant robot from space lands in the woods and a kid finds him and hides him (kind of like my dragon story except I thought of mine first). It's a cartoon but it's not a baby cartoon. The end is really sad. I'm not saying I cried. Max cried. 3. Dragonheart. See above. DRAGON. 4. Jurassic Park. Dinosaurs are basically dragons without the fire. 5. The Mummy. Saw it in May. Scary but cool. The bugs part was gross.
