 4/28/96: Finals start next week, so this is my
last update for a while. I'm going home to Scranton for the summer and we don't have a
computer at home, so no Internet till September. MOM: PLEASE tape the rest of season 2 for
me. On SP, not EP! I'll write up the episodes as soon as I'm back. Have a great summer, everybody!
COUPLE WATCH (as of 4/28/96)
Ross & Rachel: TOGETHER!!! Since the prom video. I'm still not over it. I never will be.
Monica & Richard: Together. He's her parents' friend, he's an eye doctor, and he's Tom Selleck. I'm OK with all three.
Chandler: Single, and after Eddie, just happy to have Joey back across the hall where he belongs.
Joey: Dr. Drake Ramoray is dead. Joey is not. Auditioning.
Phoebe: Single. Writing songs about it.

Welcome to the Couch
Every Thursday at 8, twenty-some girls from my floor pile into our dorm lounge in front of
one TV to watch Friends. Nobody talks. If you talk, you get the pillow. At 8:30 everybody goes back
to their rooms and argues about Ross and Rachel through the walls until Seinfeld comes on at 9.
I'm Stacy. I'm 19, I'm a sophomore majoring in elementary ed at a college in Pennsylvania, and
I love this show more than is probably healthy. My roommate Dina helped me make this page on
the computers in the library. Pull up a mug.

Rachel Green
Jennifer Aniston | Ran out of her wedding and into Central Perk. Now waitressing (badly). Half my floor has her haircut. I tried. I don't have the hair for it. |
Ross Geller
David Schwimmer | Paleontologist, dad to Ben, loved Rachel since high school. Sweet and a total dork, and I say that with love. |
Monica Geller
Courteney Cox | Chef, neat freak, best apartment in New York. I want her kitchen. |
Chandler Bing
Matthew Perry | Funniest one. Nobody knows what his job is. Not even him. |
Joey Tribbiani
Matt LeBlanc | Actor. Sort of. Sweetest guy in the group, and he'll eat your food. |
Phoebe Buffay
Lisa Kudrow | Plays guitar at Central Perk and gives massages. She's my favorite. Smelly Cat forever. |
Best of the Rest
- Gunther, the guy behind the counter with the bleached hair. I'm pretty sure he's in love with Rachel. We see you, Gunther.
- Marcel, Ross's monkey, now a movie star. Good for him.
- Carol and Susan, Ben's moms. Their wedding was one of my favorite episodes this year.
- Ugly Naked Guy, who we have never actually seen, which is fine.
- Poor Mr. Heckles. Rest in peace, you cranky old man.
The Song
"I'll Be There for You" by the Rembrandts. I have the single on tape and I play it every morning
while I get ready. Dina has threatened my life. Everybody on the floor does the claps.
