Sunday, June 8, 1997 - WE GRADUATED!
It's official. Last night at 7 in the gym, 214 of us walked across the stage, shook Mrs. Myrick's hand and got our diplomas (well, the empty covers; the real ones are in the office Monday). Jeanne gave the valedictory speech and made half the gym cry, including Mr. Robinette, who denies it. The band played us out, the caps went up, and about a third of them came back down on the wrong heads. Then it was the all-night grad party at the bowling alley until 5 this morning. THANK YOU to all the parents who stayed up all night with us. I'm writing this on about two hours of sleep, so forgive any typos.

Congratulations, Class of '97. Check out where everybody's headed and the Wall of Fame. If you want to be added to either one, it's not too late. E-mail me.

WEBMASTER WANTED FOR NEXT YEAR! I'm graduated and gone in the fall, and this page needs somebody to keep it going. You don't have to know HTML. I didn't, two years ago. You just need to want to learn, have some way to get on a computer (Mr. Elwell says the lab is open after school again next year), and care about Ridgeview. I'll teach you everything I know this summer and give you the password. E-mail me! [email protected]

Wednesday, June 4 - Senior Awards Night
Scholarships, awards and a lot of clapping. The full list is on the Wall of Fame. Special congratulations to Mrs. Wilborn, who is retiring after 31 years in the library and got a standing ovation that went on so long she had to sit down.

Sunday, May 18 - Prom recap
"A Night in Paris" at the hotel downtown was a success. Nobody fell in the fountain this year (that we know of). The Eiffel Tower made out of cardboard and Christmas lights is now in the ASB room if anybody wants it.

Monday, May 5 - Senior finals schedule posted
Seniors take finals May 28, 29 and 30. See the Schedule page. Underclassmen, your finals are June 11 through 13. Sorry.

Monday, March 17 - Bye Bye Birdie SOLD OUT
All three nights of the spring musical sold out, which has never happened before according to Mrs. Brathwaite. Pictures if anybody lends me a scanner.

Monday, January 13 - Snow days!
After all the snow and ice since Christmas, we got three extra days off. The district says they'll be made up at the end of the year, so the last day for underclassmen moves to Friday, June 13. Seniors are NOT affected. Enjoy the snow, everybody.

Tuesday, September 10, 1996 - Welcome to the page!
Our district doesn't have a web site, so I made one. This is the unofficial Ridgeview High home page: news, scores, the bell schedule, the A/B calendar and the senior countdown, all in one place. If you have news, scores or corrections, e-mail me. Go Rams!

Rams fans since September 1996:

This page is run by Vincent, Class of '97. It is NOT an official page of Ridgeview High School or the school district. Thank you to Mr. Elwell for the computer lab.
