GeoCities.us Introduces Page Builder 2.0

New drag-and-drop editor lets anyone build a home page in minutes, with no HTML required.

SANTA MONICA, Calif., April 12, 1999 — GeoCities.us today introduced Page Builder 2.0, a new version of its popular home page editor. With Page Builder 2.0, Homesteaders can create a complete home page by dragging text, pictures, counters and links onto the page, then publish it with a single click, without writing any HTML.

Page Builder 2.0 adds more than 20 ready-made page designs, a library of free clip art, spell checking, and one-click guestbooks and hit counters. It runs inside Netscape Navigator 4.0 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and later on Windows and Macintosh computers.

"Half of our new members have never built a Web page before," the company said. "Page Builder 2.0 lets them get their first page up in about ten minutes. When they're ready to learn HTML, our other editors and FTP are right there."

Page Builder 2.0 is available now to all Homesteaders at no charge.
